Beginning Leaded Stained Glass Class – 4 Sessions Tuition: $175 (Class fee covers instruction only) Schedule: 4 sessions, 4 hours each (16 total hours) Class Minimum: 4 students required to run Ready to dive into the art of stained glass? This exciting beginner-level class introduces you to the timeless craft of leaded stained glass. Whether you're looking to start a new creative hobby or expand your skills, you'll learn how to create your own beautiful glass panel from start to finish — no prior experience with leaded glass required! 🔹 Basic glass cutting skills are required. Don’t worry — if you’re new to cutting, we offer a separate Glass Cutting Basics class each month to get you up to speed. The photos above show examples of past students’ work and some of the beginner-friendly patterns available for this class. What’s Included & What to Bring: 🔹16 hours of hands-on instruction in a relaxed, creative studio setting 🔹Learn the leaded technique, from cutting to assembly to soldering 🔹Create a finished 12" × 12" panel using your chosen beginner-friendly pattern 🔹Tools and materials (glass, solder, etc.) are not included, but are available for purchase with a 30% student discount 🔹Tool rental is available if you’re not ready to invest in a full tool kit Project Guidelines: 🔹Projects are based on beginner-level 12" × 12" patterns 🔹Repeat students may bring their own patterns but must get approval from the instructor before the first class session*** Before Class Begins: (Not required, but saves time on your first session) To get the most out of your first session, we recommend that you: 🔹Choose your pattern in advance 🔹Have a general idea of your color palette/glass colors Between Sessions: There will be homework. If you don’t complete certain steps during class time, you’ll need to work on your project at home and transport it back and forth.
